Rochelle Chong is a mixed media and fibre artist, designer, curator, and maker.
She sees fabric and found objects the way a painter sees a canvas: full of possibility, full of life, and rarely truly finished. That sensibility runs through everything here, from the clothing she sews by hand to the wounded chair nobody else wanted that now sits proudly restored in someone's home. She built this brand on one conviction: that the most meaningful things aren't always new. Sometimes they're just waiting for the right person to see them.

Rochelle Chong Designs is not one thing. It is a reflection of one person's very particular way of moving through the world, always noticing what others overlook, always asking what something could become.
As a designer and maker, Rochelle creates original bespoke clothing and accessories entirely by hand. Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by her background in mixed media and fibre art and her lifelong love of fashion with character.
As a vintage and preloved fashion curator, she handpicks clothing and accessories chosen for their quality, their story, and their ability to feel as relevant today as the day they were made. From 90s deadstock to heritage finds to gently loved modern pieces, every item earns its place.
As an upcycling artist, she takes found vintage fabrics and gives them an entirely new life. Textile greeting cards, wallpaper art cards, handcrafted fashion accessories made from vintage fabric. Objects that are useful, beautiful, and made with genuine care. This is where her life as a fibre artist and her love of salvaged material meet most naturally. Nothing goes to waste. Everything gets a second story.
As a curator of vintage living, she extends that same eye beyond fashion into decor, furniture, homewares, books, and objects from bygone eras that deserve to be loved again. If it is beautiful, storied, and well made, it belongs here.
And as a repairer, she does something that is perhaps closest to her heart. Rochelle seeks out the wounded and the overlooked. The piece with the broken clasp, the garment with the worn hem, the chair with the damaged leg that everyone else walked past. Sometimes she restores them quietly, returning them to their original glory. Sometimes she lets the repair show, stitching visible mending into the fabric or the finish as part of the story rather than something to hide. Either way, the philosophy is the same: something worth making deserves to be worth keeping.
